Education
I'm a teacher trainer ESL (Trinity CertTESOL) and Teaching Associate in English for Academic Purposes with many years experience. I'm also nearing completion of a Doctor of Education (thesis stage) Degree. My research interests are in EAP. I also have two master's degrees one in post-compulsory education and one in Social Research. My Bachelor's degree is in Politics (Major) and International Relations. My areas of tutoring expertise are in EAP including preparation for IELTS and bachelor's level sociology (especially in research methods).
Experience
My experience in ESL and EAP amounts to 12 years. I have spent many of those years working at a UK university as an EAP tutor primarily tutoring post-graduate students. I am also currently course director, tutor and trainer on a Trinity College London CertTESOL course. I would like to specialize further tutoring online as I enjoy one-to-one interaction enabling one to tailor learning needs to the individual.

Hobbies
Apart from academic interests which lie mainly in discourse analysis and the sociology of education, I enjoy cycling and independent cinema.
